Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use chaloreview.com or the ChaloReview apps for Android and iOS. By creating an account or posting, you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines.

Using ChaloReview

Anyone can browse ChaloReview. To post reviews, comment, vote, save or report, you need an account. You must be at least 13 years old, and use ChaloReview honestly, lawfully and respectfully.

Your account

Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
One person, one account. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts, or impersonate anyone.
Before your first post you'll be asked to accept these terms and the Community Guidelines. When we change them materially, we'll ask again.
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at chaloreview.com/delete-account.

Your content

You own the reviews, photos, videos and comments you post. By posting, you give ChaloReview a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or re-encode), distribute and promote that content on ChaloReview and our social channels, for as long as it stays on ChaloReview. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared on social media and copies we must keep as described in our Privacy Policy.

Only post content you have the right to post: your own experiences, photos and videos you took, and nothing that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy. Get permission before filming people who can be identified.

What you must not do

Break the Community Guidelines: harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, exposing personal information, spam or fake reviews.
Post reviews in exchange for payment, free products or other benefits without saying so, or review your own business or a competitor's.
Post anything illegal, including content that breaks Pakistani law.
Scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the security of the website, apps or API.
Create accounts automatically or to get around a suspension.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

ChaloReview has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, exposing someone's personal information and spam are not allowed anywhere on ChaloReview. Content like this is removed, and the account that posted it is suspended or closed.

Moderation

We use automated checks and human moderators. We may hold content for review before it appears, and remove or hide content that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines. Every report and block is sent to our moderators, who act on reports within 24 hours. We don't remove honest reviews just because a business disagrees with them. If you think we made a mistake, email contact@chaloreview.com.

Suspension and termination

If you break these terms or the Community Guidelines, we may remove your content, suspend your account (you can still sign in, read, block and delete your account, but not post, comment or vote), or close it. Serious or repeated violations, such as threats or exposing someone's personal information, can lead to immediate closure. You can stop using ChaloReview and delete your account at any time.

Business profiles

Business owners may request access to manage their listing and reply to reviews. We may verify ownership first. Owners must not pressure, pay or threaten reviewers, or report honest reviews to get them removed.

No guarantees

Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not ChaloReview. We work to keep listings useful and current, but business details, hours, prices and availability change. Always confirm important information with the business. ChaloReview is provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for content posted by users or businesses.

Changes and contact

We will update the version and effective date above when these terms change and ask you to accept material changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Questions: contact@chaloreview.com.
